AFMC MCAT Fee Assistance Program

The MCAT Fee Assistance Program (FAP) was developed by the Association of American Medical Colleges (AAMC) and Association of Canadian Faculties of Medicine (AFMC) to provide up to $600 worth of subsidies and resources to eligible applicants from low socioeconomic status (SES) backgrounds. 

 

Over the last two years, POD has worked with the AFMC and the Community of Support (COS) to develop an engagement strategy to increase outreach for this program. The strategy includes social media promotion, open lines of communication for student questions, and webinars. We aim to continue increasing access to this program for students across the country.
